LadyJazz is a traditional Jazz album inspired by musicians, Horace Silver, Betty Carter, Billie Holiday, and Eartha Kitt. The album features Morton Hyams on piano and Sylvia. on vocals. The album is a tribute to the vocal Jazz tradition and improvisation.

LadyJazz is dedicated to Sylvia.'s Aunt Eva who passed away some months following the release of the album. Rest in peace Auntie.

LadyJazz is a tribute to the traditional Jazz idiom and was recorded in the traditional two-track style recording done by earlier Jazz musicians.
